- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought.
- Advise customers on use and care of furniture, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services to be used in moving customers’ furniture and household items.
- Estimate or quote prices and advise on moving dates.
- Prepare and package items for moving, loading storage or offloading.
- Prepare sales contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment for moving consumables and moving services.
- Assist in display of and sales merchandise such as boxes, tape, shrink wraps and other moving consumables.
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
- May conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure excellent service delivery to clients.
- Carry out other job-related activities as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.16 per hour
