A Locally owned Pizza Franchise Operating in Nova Scotia, is looking for a Restaurant Manager to work at its location on 99 COBEQUID ROAD, LOWER SACKVILLE, NS, B4C 2N2, on a full-time, non-seasonal, /2/ TWO years’ Term contract, and perform the following duties:
1- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant.
2- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
3- Recruit staff and oversee staff training.
4- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
5- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
6- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
7- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements:
1 to 2 years of experience in the field of Restaurant management,
Secondary/High-School/Baccalaureate diploma/certificate is required.
Salary: $21/h for 40 hours per week and overtime starts after /40/ hours per week at the rate of $31.5/h. Schedule: /5/ days per week and two days off to be chosen with the supervisor.
Vacation: 10 days off per year or 4%
Language: English or French
