We are looking for safety and service oriented professional long haul truck Drivers who are reliable, organized, and excellent team players.
As a Long-Haul Driver, you will perform all or some of the following duties:
● Professionalism in customer service
● Load and unload goods
● Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
● Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
● Receive and relay information to central dispatch
● Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
● Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
● Willing to travel cross-border in teams
● Willing to travel overnight
● Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer
Education Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Work Experience: Experience an asset
Security and Safety: Valid Passport, Drug Test
Employment terms: Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available
Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 35 hours / week)
Compensation: CAD $36.10 /hour
Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, Provincial/territorial, long haul, Cross Border
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer A train, Tractor-trailer B train, Refrigerated, Tractor-trailer
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): AZ class license
