Salary: $38.00 hourly
Working hours: 35.00 hours per week

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and minimum 7 months of experience as foreman and several years of welding experience, familiar with the following welding techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Multipass, operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC) Arc welding machine, Gas welding machines. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Able to work at height, outdoors in noisy, hot, cold conditions in the fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and work pressure. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, attention to detail Type of industry experience: Machinery and metal equipment products manufacturing, metal products manufacturing. Work setting: assembly, construction, fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair, service, shopwork Type of materials: aluminum alloys, steel, iron and heavy metals, stainless steel. Area of specialization: structural construction, machinery or equipment repair, stainless steel welding.
Responsibilities: Prepare production and other reports, Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, Set up machines and equipment, Supervise workers and projects 5-10 people staff in various areas of responsibility, Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters, Trades helpers, Welders
